Paris-Camembert, Anthony Delaplace : "a demanding race"

The Arkéa-Samsic team will start in Magnanville as the title holder.

“It’s a demanding event. The sequence of short but steep bumps hurts in the final. In order to win, you have to be patient and run lean on the first part before using tactics on the second. The race is open and the decision can be made in the transitions between the different difficulties. This is the law of the French Cup. We have a team that combines youth and experience, and we’re very close. Everyone in the team has the ability to shine tomorrow.”

Mickaël Leveau, sports director

“The race has changed its course a little bit this year by starting closer to Paris. This first part in line can have an influence on the rest if there is wind. We will have to save ourselves before entering the final part of the race because it is a pedal race around Livarot and there are generally very few surprises. We have some good cards at the start, with riders who know what these French Cup races are like. We have the ambition to do as well as last season.”
