Our rider from Finistere is a time trial specialist. He grabbed attention in the discipline for the first time in 2015 as a junior by winning three regional or national events. The following year he claimed the champion de Bretagne title. In 2017, he finished fifth in the amateurs French championships. After turning professional in August 2018, he found himself in a breakaway on Paris-Tours with his idol, Sylvain Chavanel, who that day was hanging up his shoes. Thibault Guernalec is a rouleur who likes to help his team gear up for the sprints.
