Tour de l'Ain : "the scenario is unpredictable"

The 3 stages of the Tour de l’Ain will offer a great terrain for the climbers of the Team Arkéa-Samsic.

“The Tour de l’Ain will be a real test for me because I come back to racing. I am now trying to get back into the rhythm of the competition and this race will be an important passage for the future. The course proposed this year, with no real judge of peace or summit finish, makes the scenario of the race more than unpredictable. It can be decided on the first day by a tactical move and this is only beneficial for us as we have several cards in our possession to use during these three days.”

Sébastien Hinault, directeur sportif

“If there is no climb of the Grand Colombier this year, the last two stages will be difficult. The series of climbs on the last day will crown a strong rider because we will have more than 3000m of difference in altitude concentrated in 129km of race. We have a good team with riders who have had good results in Spain in the last few weeks like Elie and Anthony. This team is homogeneous and can achieve great things together.”
