“This stage was decisive for the overall classification, with a difficulty at six kilometers from the finish followed by a fast descent. High level sport is not an exact science and unfortunately. Elie didn’t have a very good feeling today. We remain focused though, Sunday will be the queen stage of Mount Lofty, with a profile more appreciated by Elie, i.e. with a steady climb rather than a dry one like today and yesterday. A sprint is announced tomorrow and this will be another opportunity for Hugo Hofstetter. We are not disunited, we keep the morale to give the best of ourselves on this Tour Down Under”.
