“Warren was subject to cramps at the moment of the biggest effort of the day, we will have to analyse this. I’m not worried, this was the first of four Ardennes races that are on his programme for the next two weeks. We are going to do everything to reverse this trend. This little physical problem of cramps, we will just have to find out why. The Amstel was placed at an unusual time in the calendar, but we are not looking for excuses, the team was prepared to perform. We didn’t achieve the performance we were looking for, so it’s up to us to show a different face in the coming races”.
