The Arkéa-Samsic team and Andrii Ponomar have mutually agreed to terminate their contract so that the young Ukrainian rider can join a professional Italian cycling team. Italian has been Andrii’s second language for many years, and this country has been his home since the start of the conflict between his country and Russia. His mother and sister live in Italy, so Andrii will be even closer to them. Thank you to Andrii, who is a very beautiful person, for these few months spent in our company, for his constant good humour despite the geo-political context that he and his family have been enduring for months.
