“The QuickStep Soudal team controlled the breakaway that formed. The circuit was swept by the wind, so few teams made the big manoeuvres, except for Groupama-FDJ, who made it harder. It came down to a hill climb. We were about 40 riders at the foot of the last climb of Cassel. I was in a good position, but I was moved around a bit near the flamme rouge. This cost me a few places. I could have done between 5 and 7, but that’s the way it is. I’m a bit bitter about my average time, otherwise there could have been a good general classification at the end of the 4 Days of Dunkerque. We are determined for the last stage, Hugo was second last year, it is a stage that suits him. We are motivated to finish this edition of the 4 Days of Dunkerque in the best possible way
