Pre-race

I have been nine days without cycling following my crash during training in Spain which resulted in a concussion. I started to ride again gradually. I still had headaches at the beginning, which then disappeared gradually, and I started to ride intensively again last week. In any case, if I take part in a race it is with the aim of doing the maximum, otherwise I prefer not to line up at the start”.

The briefing

“The Clasica Almeria is a race that usually ends in a bunch sprint. It is a race with a hilly course, but the teams involved, and in particular those with a sprinter, often do everything possible to ensure that the race ends with a sprint.  We have built our team with this in mind, with Nacer Bouhanni making his return to competition on this occasion.
