Christophe Noppe: "Bredene, a normal sprint”
Christophe Noppe, a native of Flanders, knows the Bredenne Koksijde Classic very well and considers that this race has a great chance to be a sprint, as it often is.

Pre-race
“I started again on Sunday at the Ronde Van Drenthe after contracting the Covid, and I didn’t know what to expect because I didn’t have a good feeling in training. I lost a few weeks. I feel that with the sequence of races it is getting better, I was able to do a good job for the team, while finishing the race. I am now waiting for my condition to evolve and I am looking ahead. Bredene normally ends in a sprint, we have good cards, a good team, we are in a good spiral”.

The briefing
“Bredene Classique Koksijde is a ProSeries event, so it is important in terms of UCI points. It is therefore important that we put in a good performance in this event. This semi-classic race takes place on Mount Kemmel, but nevertheless the probability of a sprint is high, with a group of 20 to 30 riders fighting it out. A weather factor that can also play an important role: the wind!”
