Classic Grand Besançon Doubs: Ewen Costiou 8th
Ewen Costiou and Elie Gesbert finished respectively 8th and 10th at the top of the Belvédère de Montfaucon.

“We tried in the final. Elie followed the moves, but he gave in to the acceleration of the pure climbers. Ewen also made a good climb, smoothing out his effort. They finished respectively eighth and tenth of this first round of the Eastern Classics”.
“It went up very fast the first time, I told the team that I felt good. I saw that I didn’t have the legs to follow sharp attacks so I preferred to manage the second ascent of the Montfaucon belvedere. I am discovering this type of competition with such bumps and I think that in the future this kind of race can correspond to me”.
