“It’s crazy, I’m so happy. It’s my first win with Arkéa-Samsic after two years with the team. On top of that, winning in Brittany is just great. This race beats in the heart of our whole team. I put my hands up a bit too early, I thought I hadn’t won the race after I crossed the line. When I heard “Connor Swift wins” it was amazing. It was pure emotion! That moment after the line was great. I will never forget that moment. It’s the best feeling. Everyone is so happy, my teammates, the team…That’s why we ride bikes. To win races. This is the third time I’ve done this race. The first time was in 2017, after running the Tro Bro Leon, I went home and said to my cousin Ben Swift, ‘I want to win this competition one day. Elie won a little while ago, Winner won yesterday which is great for the team dynamic. When you see your teammates winning you think: “Hey, it can be my turn today. It’s a special moment, a great dynamic. It’s crazy, I’m so happy. “
