Etoile de Bessèges (Stage 3): Hugo Hofstetter 7th
Our sprinter took the 7th place of the 3rd stage of the Etoile de Bessèges (Bessèges-Bessèges).

“There was a good tempo in the climb, I managed to pass with the best. With three riders in front, the sprint is obviously different. Tomorrow is Mont Bouquet and my mission will be to sacrifice myself for the team. I will do my best for Connor and try to place him as well as possible because there might be a podium to go for on this edition of the Etoile de Besseges”.
Yvon Caër (sports director): “We had to try, we did it. Thibault, who was placed in the general classification, was in front in a breakaway with a group of strong riders. I think that the final decision of this stage is made at the fall of Carapaz, that’s the way it is, that’s the race. Connor and Thibault are still placed in the general standings, tomorrow during the Mont Bouquet stage which will undoubtedly be decisive, we will give everything to get a good result before the final time trial of this Etoile de Besseges”.
