Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne: race preview
The day after Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne offers a series of climbs before an epilogue on a city circuit more favorable to sprinters.
“I like the Flandriennes and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne suits me very well in case of a sprint of about 30 riders. The course is perhaps less difficult than the day before, but the wind can make it difficult for the sprinters between the last climbs and the final circuit around Kuurne. In any case, sprint or not, the legs always have the last word.”
“Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne usually favors the sprinters. We’ll have some good cards to play if we have a grouped finish with Dan McLay, David Dekker and Luca Mozzato. Just like the day before, we won’t be the favorites on paper, but we have something to play for.”
