Paris-Bourges: "a team that can adapt to any kind of scenario"

The penultimate road race on the French calendar, Paris-Bourges offers the sprinters a chance to express themselves each year.

Daniel McLay

“Victory is often decided in a bunch sprint or in a smaller group depending on the state of the peloton after the hills. We have a team that can adapt to any type of scenario depending on whether it happens in a sprint or if there is a move race.”

Arnaud Gérard, sport directeur

“It is a race that should end in a sprint. The last real difficulty of the course is at about 30 km from the finish. The wind will also be important because the roads are clear. Nevertheless, the sprinters’ teams are strong and it is in their interest to arrive in a group. In this case, we will be able to count on Dan in the final meters.”
