“It was a good day, we worked to try to win this stage of Turini. But the other riders were stronger than us. The feeling is good, of course we were hoping for more as always. We are in a good position for this last stage around Nice which I know well. The team did a good job today. I hope that I can continue to progress in the general classification because it is very important for the Arkea-Samsic team and myself. Tomorrow is the last day of racing and I will try again.”
