Région Pays de la Loire Tour, stage 1: medical statement

Following the crash that occurred in the last three kilometers of the stage, here are the medical bulletins of the riders involved.

Kévin Vauquelin and Donavan Grondin having fallen less than three kilometers from the line, they were classified in the same time as the winner of the 1st stage of the Région Pays de la Loire Tour.
Nacer Bouhanni
  • Excoriations of the shoulder, elbow, leg, external face and left basi thoracic.
  • Wound on the right elbow with possible passive immobilization and stitching.
    Hematoma on the front of the right leg.

    Nacer Bouhanni will not start the 2nd stage of the Pays de la Loire Tour tomorrow.
Kévin Vauquelin

Dermabrasion and cut on the left tibia not requiring stitches.

Kévin Vauquelin will be at the start of the 2nd stage in Clisson.
Donavan Grondin

Hematoma on the right calf muscle.

Donavan Grondin will be at the start of the 2nd stage in Clisson.
