Rund Um Köln - Présentation

“Rund Um Köln is a flat race at the beginning, but then it gets hilly. So we can expect some movement. Last year, a group of twenty-five riders broke away in this part of the race. The weather can also play an important role. This race offers a scenario that is not necessarily predictable from one year to the next because the final stretch becomes quite flat again, and this can allow a sprint. Teams with sprinters can control the first part and be careful in the second part, while protecting their fast riders and us, especially Nacer. I cut after the first block of the season and I feel fit. I hope to have good legs this weekend, and be able to do good things for myself and the Arkéa-Samsic team”.
