“I am quite happy with my day, the sensations are good. I was well protected all day long by my team-mates. I started the climb quite far back, I had to make a big effort to get back up. I think I could have done even better but the overall result is satisfactory.”

“Benjamin made a good climb with the strong guys. He was well helped by the Arkéa-Samsic team. We will try to do even better in the next few days and from the third stage onwards where we will do everything to put Dan McLay in the best possible position for the sprint.“
