On the finish line.

28 years old – French – 8th of the seventh stage of Tirreno-Adriatico.
“It was a great last day. In the final, I was able to count on the support of the team and in particular of my friend Warren Barguil who really put me in the shade so that I made the minimum effort. Eighth, the result may seem anecdotal but I am happy to be part of a sprint on a UCI WorldTour event. Now a little rest and then it’s on to Milan San-Remo next Saturday, one of the most beautiful classics of the year.”

Debriefing.

“I’m happy for Clement Russo who is joining the sprint at this level. We saw Donavan and Warren in the final to give him a helping hand. There was a nice cohesion. On the overall result, we have two boys in the top thirty overall, which reflects our current level. Warren Barguil (24th overall) is getting stronger with each race and I also note the good performance of Simon Guglielmi (27th overall) who has been very consistent throughout the week. I am not forgetting Nacer who signed his return to this level and I am convinced that we will find him at the front very soon.”
