Tour de France (stage 15), Yvon Ledanois : « Nairo the priority of priorities »

“It was very hot on the road of the Tour de France today for all the riders. The second week ends well for me. Tomorrow will be a rest day. We are now few riders very close to the podium, I hope to be able to integrate it and to do that there are three big mountain stages coming up in the next days in the Pyrenees. They can decide the general classification before the last time trial. They are in any case beautiful stages and I know them very well”.

“I am happy that this 15th stage is now over. We knew that it would be a nervous and difficult stage, especially in the final part. The whole team did a great job for Nairo so that he was never alone. Hugo tried to make a sprint in the final. He finished in 15th place, Amaury try to be back at the bunch but he left a lot of room to manoeuvre to help Nairo. Our leader is our top priority. He finished in the first peloton today without any problems, which is not the case for everyone ».
