Donavan Grondin took 11th place in the stage in Mayenne which ended in a bunch sprint. Kévin Vauquelin was 23rd.

“It was a sprint that needed to be fresh and I had done a lot of effort at the beginning of the stage to avoid that a big group came out without us being represented. I tried to compete for the first bonus. I finished 4th. I finished just outside the top 10 in Mayenne”.
The debrief
“We rode in the final part of this stage that arrived in Mayenne in order not to have any regrets, if tomorrow Kévin after his two crashes recovers his physical potential. We also tried to chase the bonifications. Laurent just missed out on the first one. The objective for Kévin today was to pass this stage as well as possible, without any problems. It is done. Tomorrow will be another day…”.
