“I was well placed for the sprint but after the crashes yesterday I didn’t want to take too many risks. I think there was a way to do better but after the difficult day for everyone yesterday, it’s a good thing to finish the stage like this with everyone in the same time. “
“The stage was short but nervous. We had to be careful and after a hard day yesterday it was important to get a good start. Everyone was motivated and we made sure to put Dan in the sprint. Now we are going to focus on tomorrow with the big stage of the Tour of Turkey where we will give everything to put Nairo and Nicolas in the best possible positions before the 15 kilometre climb.”
