Yvon Ledanois: "I remember the attitude of my riders”

Once again, a sprint day on this 4th stage of the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, with some movement however, and a big attack with 90 km to go on the 2nd bonus sprint with a peloton split in two, and in front of Laurent Pichon, Hugo Hofstetter and Philippe Gilbert among others.

The debrief

“We will remember the behaviour of the team after the 2nd bonus sprint, with a group of sixteen riders that broke away. There is Laurent Pichon, Hugo Hofstetter to represent the Arkéa-Samsic team, and Philippe Gilbert among others. It’s a move that could have gone far, very far. We didn’t make any mistakes so far, but I’m a bit disappointed with the final of this 4th stage because there was more to do, much more. We didn’t have enough cohesion in the sprint, even if I am aware that it wasn’t easy to find each other in the final. But we have the level to do better than that, which explains my disappointment at this level. Nevertheless, we keep the first place in the team classification and the pink bibs that symbolize this position”.
