Circuit Franco-Belge: "a tricky final circuit"

From Tournai to La Louvière, the Circuit Franco-Belge will offer a tough final with a 22% passage in one of the last climbs of the course.

“The Tour de Wallonie was a good, high-intensity recovery race on difficult stages with a strong field. The course of the Circuit Franco Belge will be similar: the final circuit around La Louvière is very tricky and when I see a profile like this one, I like it and I am very motivated.”

Toon Clynhens

“I have already taken part in training camps with the team and I am now looking forward to racing in the Arkea-Samsic jersey. Even if the Circuit Franco-Belge is not held in my region, I am used to this kind of profile having raced Liège-Bastogne-Liège or the Flèche Ardennaise in the U23 ranks.”

Roger Tréhin, directeur sportif

“We will have a difficult final loop with some 22% passages in one of the last climbs of the circuit. We can expect a race of movement. We are fielding riders capable of being opportunistic who can adapt to any type of scenario.”
