Connor Swift: "I like races with cobbles and gravel as Jaen”

Pre-race

It’s always interesting to see new races on the calendar, so I’m obviously very excited about this Clasica Jaen Paraiso Interior. It’s going to be different from the other races we can do because it’s going to be on dirt roads, on cobblestones. This kind of race is a bit fashionable nowadays and it often makes for interesting races with scenarios that go beyond the traditional schemes. I like this kind of competition and I hope that Arkéa-Samsic will get good results in this first edition of the Clasica Jaën Parisio Intérior“.

The briefing

The Clasica Jaen Paraiso Interior is a new event in the Spanish race calendar. I have studied the circuit and in the final part of the race, the cobbled and dirt road sectors are used three times. In fact, the race is divided as follows: a loop of one hundred and twenty kilometres, then one of forty and finally a final loop of twenty kilometres. We can hope for a good result on this race which has more than 3000 meters of difference in altitude“.
