Milano-Torino, M. Leveau: "the team will gave everything for Nacer"

The team involved in Milan-Turin will be concentrated around Nacer Bouhanni who finished 2nd last year in this event.

Jenthe Biermans

“The course of Milan-Turin should favor a massive sprint, we have a very good sprinter with Nacer, who will be surrounded by a very strong team. We will concentrate our forces around him. I enjoy racing in Italy, the races are beautiful, there are people to cheer us on like in Belgium, and as a bonus the weather is better now than in Belgium.”

Kévin Ledanois

“This race alternates between a course for climbers or in favor of sprinters, and this year it is the one that can favor a massive finish that was selected. I have only raced this race once, and Nacer took 2nd place. Usually, a breakaway is formed, and the sprinters’ teams control it. The parameter that can change the game is the wind, otherwise the scenario is quite clear. The terrain becomes more hilly when you arrive in Turin, and it is a little more technical, with a series of small traffic circles. You have to be in the right place at the right time to place and take Nacer”.

Mickaël Leveau, directeur sportif

“Milano-Torino is the semi-classic for sprinters, especially since the course is even less difficult than in other years. So that will be all for Nacer Bouhanni who will have a train to launch him and which will be composed of Alan Riou, Kévin Ledanois, Jenthe Biermans, Luca Mozzato and Donavan Grondin”.
