“I knew the finish since 2019 (9th). I had memories of a tougher finish. I think it was a little bit lacking in percentage for me. In the end, it didn’t come down to much. I wanted to win, I am not far behind. Now I’m placed overall and I’m going to fight to the end.”
Sports director: “The finish in Qurayyat was the first explanation for the overall classification. Elie answered present with this third place. He came up against someone stronger than him. He is also third overall. Monday’s stage to Jabal Al Akhdhar will be the judge of this Tour of Oman. There are three beautiful stages left and some great things to do.
