“The team trusted me today by controlling the race during the whole stage. In the penultimate climb, I was not in the first group but Anthony Delaplace and Michel Ries waited for me to replace me. Thanks to their work, I was able to tackle the last climb in the first positions. At the top, with the turns, I am not very well placed and I lose some places. I did a good sprint though because I came back very strong in the last meters. I really had teammates who were 200% committed. It was the first time that a team controlled the race for me, it’s a special feeling. I can only thank them. The whole group has done a great job since the beginning here in Oman. Tomorrow we have a final stage ahead of us: we will give everything for Cristián to go for a good overall classification together.”

“We were all about Jenthe today. Andrii rode all day to control the breakaway. The final was very punchy. Jenthe managed to pass the big difficulty but suffered a small break in the last corner. Without that, I think we had room to do better.”
