Tro Bro Leon : Victory for Hugo Hofstetter !
Hugo Hofstetter won his first race for Arkea-Samsic. Last year’s winner, Connor Swift is 3rd.

“I knew I could do it. Since the beginning of the season, I always worked, I never panicked. Today, we took things in hand. When we found ourselves three in front in the final, I knew that the victory could not escape us. This race is really important for the team and I managed to push myself even though I was cramping. Yesterday we recognized the key sectors, Yvon Caër our sports director lives in Lannilis and he was even more motivated than us. We had a great team race but I can’t help but be disappointed for Laurent who had a flat tire at the worst possible moment. We had a great time together, that’s all that matters.”
“It’s always special to race here. I won last year and I love this race. For Arkea-Samsic, it’s like the world championship! We won the race for the second year in a row, it’s incredible. The whole team has been very strong, we have been actors. We are four riders in the first seven, it’s great.”
“We caused the overhang at the end of the race. We managed to finish, despite the bad luck of Laurent Pichon. We could have knocked out the race. We had seven riders in the Arkea-Samsic team who wanted to be there, who love this race and that makes for wonderful things. I live in Lannilis and this is the second year in a row that we’ve won here, so it’s a special feeling.”
