For his comeback, Warren Barguil finished 8th in the Tour du Finistère. Amaury Capiot finished 10th.

“It’s my first race since the camp in Sierra Nevada, after a good break and a lot of training before coming here. There are other riders among our opponents who will cut later and are therefore logically in better shape. The team has nothing to regret on the finish line, we had a good offensive race and we worked hard at the front.”

Arnaud Gérard, directeur sportif

“In this kind of finish, we had adversity. We wanted to make the race harder to tire the pure sprinters but the Tour de Finistère is always hard to decipher. Our riders did the job they had to do and respected the plan. We knew that Julien Simon was in good shape and that he was the right wheel to follow in the final. Sometimes it’s just a matter of legs. Today we are in the right place, we put two riders in the first ten after all. We will have another chance tomorrow at the Boucles de l’Aulne, in Châteaulin.”
