Coming from mountain biking, a discipline in which he was crowned French champion in the junior ranks, Clément Champoussin then switched to the road with success. 4th of the 2019 Tour de l’Avenir, this climber quickly found his way to the professionals. Winner of a stage in the 2021 Vuelta a España, second in the same year of the Classique de l’Ardèche, the 24-year-old rider from Nice is one of the great hopes of French cycling.
