Warren Barguil took 15th place in the 8th stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné between Saint-Alban-Leysse (Savoie) and Plateau de Salaison (Haute-Savoie).

“I didn’t need much to join the breakaway on the Col de Plainpalais. I hung in there all day trying to get the best place possible. The feeling today was the best I had this week, it’s encouraging even if I know I still have to work. Now it’s time for one last training session at altitude before the Tour de France.”
“We knew that the last stage of the Criterium would be very difficult. By finishing in 15th place, Warren Barguil shows that he finished the race very well. Even if we didn’t manage to win, the result is quite satisfactory. We were at the front almost every day. Warren took 3rd place in a stage, Anthony Delaplace finished 5th on the second day and Matîs signed two top ten. We can be satisfied and continue to work before the big events in the summer.”
